What a Tuesday afternoon looks like.
Maya runs people operations at a sixty-person company, and three new hires start on Monday. On Thursday she writes one line to Smalt: “Get Monday's three starters sorted. Checklist is in Notion, start dates are in the hiring sheet.”
Smalt reads the onboarding checklist in Notion and the hiring sheet, works out who needs a laptop, who reports to whom, and which accounts to request. It shows each step as it goes, so she can see what it read and what it assumed.

What is Smalt AI?

How is this different from ChatGPT or Claude?
A chat assistant answers one prompt at a time. Smalt takes the whole job: it pulls what it needs from your connected tools, works through the steps, and hands back files and drafts rather than a reply to copy out. There is nothing to prompt step by step and no agents to configure.

Which AI models power it?
A mix of models, open-source and frontier alike. Each step goes to whichever model is best suited to it, and we keep reviewing the line-up as models improve. You never pick a model or see the seams.
How does pricing work?
Credit-metered. The Free tier includes 500 credits and no credit card. Basic and Pro tiers add monthly credit allowances. Enterprise is self-hosted with custom pricing. Output tokens cost more than input — we follow the underlying model providers' pricing math, no markup gimmicks.

Yes. For work your team repeats every week, our team builds a workflow on Smalt that runs it end to end, with a person signing off where it matters. Larger enterprise digitalisation projects start with the data: records out of paper, scans and spreadsheets into a form you can trust, then the reporting and automation on top. Is my data private?
Yes. Your data is never used to train models; every model call runs under enterprise terms that exclude it. Sub-processors are listed at smaltai.com/legal/sub-processors. For teams that need full data residency, Enterprise self-hosting is available.
